Purpose: The AANA Code of Ethics for the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist sets forth principles of professional conduct and integrity that guide the CRNA’s decision-making and behavior.
Updates: The current draft modernizes the document. This draft adds clarity for responsibility to the patient, addresses usage of AI, revises research responsibility to include doctoral scholarly project, increases detail related to business practice, and updates the CRNAs responsibility to society.
