AANA is the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, the professional association representing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and nurse anesthesiologists in the United States.

As a CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist, you can join or rejoin AANA at any time during the membership year.
An international member must also be a member of the International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA). International members must have completed a program of basic nursing and nurse anesthesia education and be qualified and authorized to practice anesthesia in a country other than the United States. Once you have the documentation including IFNA membership, you can request to become an international member.

If you are entering an accredited nurse anesthesia program, you will work with your program administrator to join AANA.
