How do I join AANA as a CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist?

As a CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist, you can join or rejoin AANA at any time during the membership year.

  • If you were previously a member, you can rejoin at any time.
  • If you are new to AANA, you can join at any time throughout the membership year or request to pay for a future year.
  • AANA membership runs on a fixed member year: Sept. 1-Aug. 31 each year.
  • Dues are not prorated, even if you join/rejoin mid-year. You are still responsible for paying the full annual membership price. In 2026, that is $775 for Active CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists. In 2027, that will be $840 for Active CRNAs.

For International CRNAs/Nurse Anesthesiolgists

An international member must also be a member of the International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA). International members must have completed a program of basic nursing and nurse anesthesia education and be qualified and authorized to practice anesthesia in a country other than the United States. Once you have the documentation including IFNA membership, you can request to become an international member.
