CPC Core Modules

When am I required to complete the CPC Core Modules?

Complete the CPC Core Modules in your current cycle before transitioning to the MAC

Where do I get my receipt for the CPC Core Modules bundle?

Access your receipt in your payment history

After making your purchase, an email receipt should have been automatically sent to you. If you don’t see an email, follow these steps to save your receipt:

  1. View My Orders
  2. Select Receipt
  3. Click Print –or– enter an email and click Send

Note: If you purchased the CPC Core Modules from another provider, you will need to contact them for a receipt.

How many times can I attempt the CPC Core Modules?

You can attempt the CPC Core Modules three times

If a passing score of 80% is not achieved after three attempts,  CE credit will not be received for the course.

After successful completion the CPC Core Modules, you will not be able to go back and review the questions and answers. However, you can request a copy of your answers.

When do the current CPC Core Modules expire?

The current CPC Core Modules expire on December 31, 2025

All other courses have a unique expiration date. Upon accessing a purchased course, the expiration date can be found in the course overview. You must complete the course before the expiration date to receive credit. 

Note: You will be notified if a CPC Core Module is not completed within 30 days of the expiration date.

What dates will the conference be held? 

The 2026 EDGE (Educate, Develop, Grow, Engage) conference is scheduled for Feb. 4–7, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Is there a discount for Military personnel?

AANA offers a discount for active and retired military personnel. Complete the form on the registration page to qualify. Once verified, you’ll receive a discount code to apply during registration.

Who can attend 2026 EDGE?

All current and aspiring CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and residents are welcome. You don’t need to be a member to attend, but AANA members receive a significant discount. Learn more about membership. 

Guests may attend for an additional fee. Guest passes include access to the exhibit hall and welcome reception, but not to educational sessions. 

I am unable to attend 2026 EDGE in person. Is there an alternative option available virtually?

EDGE 2026 will be live and in-person only with no virtual components.

What is the registration cancellation policy?

If you are not able to attend this event, or any separate ticketed event, please notify the Member Services at help@aana.com.

Cancellation fee schedule: 

  • Until Jan. 5, 2026: 20% of registration/ticketed fee; remainder refunded
  • Jan. 6–19, 2026: 50% of registration/ticketed fee; remainder refunded
  • Beginning Jan. 20, 2026: No refund

Do I need to be a member to attend?

You do not need to be a member to attend, however there are significant discounts as part of your membership.  Learn more about becoming an AANA member.

What is the dress code for EDGE?

Business casual is recommended for most conference activities. Comfortable shoes are encouraged.

How many CEs will I earn for EDGE?

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology for 17.5 Class A CE credits.

How do I attend the Open Session Town Hall Board of Directors Meeting? 

The Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2026 Additional details will be shared closer to the event.  Members will receive a separate registration link to attend virtually. Check back here for updates.

How do I claim CE credits for this event?

Following each session, evaluations will open on the EDGE 2026 website and AANA Meetings mobile app. Session evaluations can be completed by selecting the “CE Evaluation” button for each session. Session evaluations and the overall meeting evaluation must be completed by March 10, 2026, to earn CE credits.

How do I meet the new DEA MATE Act Requirements?

Through a course bundle on Education Edge

To earn your 8 DEA MATE Act credits that meet the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) requirements, log in to theDEA Requirement Bundle. 

Not all CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists have a DEA number, but if you do, you will receive communications directly from the DEA regarding how to maintain your license. See all DEA MATE Act FAQs.

Mid-Year Assembly

What is the Mid-Year Assembly (MYA)?

The Mid-Year Assembly is the largest advocacy event for CRNAs

The assembly is designed to prepare nurse anesthetists to effectively advocate on Capitol Hill for protecting and advancing the CRNA profession. By attending, you will gain advocacy skills that promote leadership at the national and state levels, as well as in professional practice.

Hosted annually in Washington D.C., the upcoming Mid-Year Assembly (MYA) will run from April 26-30, 2025.

Annual Congress

When and where is the 2025 Annual Congress?

Annual Congress is a hybrid event running August 9-13, 2025

To ensure accessibility for all interested participants, AANA is offering the 2025 Annual Congress in two formats:

Live Annual Congress

Virtual Annual Congress

A virtual Annual Congress will be available with livestreamed sessions from the in-person event. These sessions will be available at the same date and time as the live event sessions. Only one session, per each hour time block, will be livestreamed.

NOTE:  AANA will present all sessions—live and virtual—at Central Standard Time (CST), based on the Nashville, TN time zone.

How many CEs can I earn for Annual Congress?

You can earn CEs either by attending live or virtually

  • Live Annual Congress: Earn up to 25 Class A CEs with 9 Pharmacology credits and 6.5 Pain Management credits
  • Virtual Annual Congress: Earn up to 15 Class A CEs with 4 Pharmacology credits and 3 Pain Management credits

How do I claim CE credits for Annual Congress?

Complete the CE Evaluation in the AANA Meeting App

Claiming CE is the same for both the Live and Virtual portions of Annual Congress:

  • Following each session, you can evaluate the session by selecting the “CE Evaluation” button in the app.
  • All session evaluations and overall Congress evaluations must be submitted by the evaluation deadline of September 15, 2025, at Noon CT.
  • The Annual Congress Quick-Start Guide will be available with detailed, step-by-step instructions closer to the start of programming.

IMPORTANT: You must complete the overall conference evaluation AND individual session evaluations to claim CE credit for Annual Congress.

What is the registration cancellation/refund policy? 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. If you are not able to attend this event or one of the ticketed events, contact help@aana.com as soon as possible. The cancellation fee schedule is:

  • Now – June 9, 2025: 80% refund of registration/ticketed fees
  • June 10 – July 22, 2025: 50% refund of registration/ticketed fees
  • July 22, 2025 – onward: No refunds
