Yes. Members who prefer print can opt in to the next issue at any time using the print preference form. Once you opt in, you’ll receive future print issues as well as full digital access. 

Yes. Every AANA member receives full digital access to every Journal issue — included with membership.

Beginning in 2026, print copies are mailed only to members who opt in.
If you did not opt in, you will receive the Journal digitally. 

To start receiving print again, complete the form to receive the next issue.

After you opt in, your print preference will apply to upcoming issues. The mailing list is typically pulled on the 5th of the month before the issue month. For example, to receive the February print issue, you must opt in before January 5.

It’s mobile-friendly, searchable, and available on any device. 

Yes. You receive the full Journal content in every digital issue — including articles, research, commentary, and features. Some issues also include exclusive online-only content or supplemental data that accompanies the published articles.

Yes. Members can save, print, or share individual articles directly from the digital platform.

1. View past issues
2. Scroll through journals dating back to 2015

Journal issues are released online and mailed out at the beginning of:

• April
• June
• August
• October
• December

3. Click Submit
