Also, update the first sentence to: The Resident Emergency Educational Grant (REEG) Fund supports Residents experiencing financial hardship due to a natural disaster designated by the Federal or State government that could hinder, delay, or prevent the completion of their nurse anesthesiology education. Grants are awarded at $1,500. Applications for funding are limited to one application per person per event. A Resident can apply for a REEG at any time during their nurse anesthesiology program. All applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but Residents who are within 12 months of graduation are the highest priority. It is not the policy of the AANA Foundation to be the first or only source of financial assistance.
