# Press release December 15, 2025 Rosemont, Ill. — The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) has renewed its partnership with Parkdale Center for Professionals, continuing a strategic connection first launched in October 2018 to provide specialized addiction treatment and support for CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and Registered Resident Nurse Anesthetists (RRNAs). Through the partnership, Parkdale helps provide a critical safety net for anesthesia professionals and those who care about them by facilitating the AANA Helpline (800-654-5167)—a 24-hour, confidential service answered by trained addiction professionals. Individuals may call for themselves, and callers may also be colleagues, supervisors, loved ones, or friends seeking support and resources related to alcohol or drugs. The collaboration also supports continuing education, resource development, and advocacy related to substance use disorder (SUD), with a focus on the unique considerations of anesthesia professionals. “AANA is committed to supporting nurse anesthesiology professionals across the full spectrum of wellness and professional sustainability,” said AANA President Jeff Molter, MSN, MBA, CRNA. “The AANA Helpline is a vital point of access for confidential support and trusted resources. This effort sustains the high-quality, specialized care pathway anesthesia professionals deserve—ensuring help is available for individuals and their colleagues.” “We’ve seen firsthand how much it matters to have a place people can call right away—confidentially and without fear,” said Rodrigo Garcia, MSN, MBA, CRNA (Ret), Founder and CEO of Parkdale Center for Professionals. “The timing coincides with Parkdale’s 10-year anniversary, marking a decade of service to anesthesia professionals and a continued shared commitment to recovery and patient safety. Speaking up early can protect careers, support recovery, and save lives. We’re proud to continue providing specialized treatment and recovery resources for CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and RRNAs, working with AANA to ensure individuals and colleagues have confidential support and a clear path to care.” If you’re concerned about yourself or someone else, call the AANA Helpline at 800-654-5167 for 24/7, confidential support—for CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists, RRNAs, and those who care about them.
