FAQs

Why is the fee increasing now?

The current rate no longer reflects the administrative and technology costs of maintaining a rigorous CE review and reporting process. The new fee ensures that AANA can continue providing efficient, accurate, and high-quality CE approval services.

Does this affect applications already submitted?

No. Any CE applications submitted before January 12, 2026 will be charged at the current rate. The new rate applies only to submissions completed on or after that date.

What if I start my application before January 12 but don’t submit until after?

Fees are applied at the time of submission. To secure the current rate, complete and submit your application before/on January 11, 2026.

What happens if my application is denied or withdrawn?

As before, all CE application fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable, whether an application is withdrawn by the provider or does not meet CE requirements.

What about small or low-volume providers?

The CE fee is proportionate to the number of credits requested, ensuring fairness across programs of varying sizes. AANA will continue exploring ways to make the process efficient and accessible for all providers.

Will this affect review timelines?

No. The update supports AANA’s ability to maintain efficient processing and timely feedback. While the application review is 30 business days/6 weeks, program providers are encouraged to submit applications at least 90 days in advance of the program’s start date to allow sufficient time for review and any additional communications needed to complete the application.

When is the late fee applied?

The late fee is assessed for applications submitted less than 30 days from the requested program start date. The late fee does not guarantee or include expedited review.

Who can I contact for assistance?
