Anesthesia Pioneers Meeting: An Inter-generational Discussion
By Luanne Irvin, MS
Attention students, recent graduates, and retired/retiring CRNAs…
If you’re interested in participating in an informative intergenerational discussion and exchange of ideas, please plan to attend the Anesthesia Pioneers Meeting, sponsored by the AANA Foundation, on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in Room 313 at the Hynes Convention Center. A robust exchange of ideas and questions will benefit both retirement-aged CRNAs and the youth of the profession.
For the past two years, the Anesthesia Pioneers Meeting has held an intergenerational format and received positive feedback from those in attendance. The format continues this year, focused on two new topics:
- When and why did some pioneer CRNAs become lawyers, and what did they accomplish and learn from the profession,
- Ether administration in the city with an Ether Dome.
The session is open to all. Please plan to attend and meet new friends.
