Residents are going ALL IN at Mid-Year Assembly

Nurse anesthesiology’s largest advocacy event invites residents like you to go ALL IN. Join peers and AANA members nationwide to build advocacy skills, connect, and help shape the future of our profession and our patients.

Build your own MYA

Get the most out of Mid-Year Assembly. It all starts here.

New to advocacy?

Don’t worry — new advocates are always welcome. MYA helps you and other residents learn about key issues our profession faces at state, regional, and national levels. You’ll be trained and briefed onsite before meetings on Capitol Hill, with informative sessions from advocacy experts, including current and former members of Congress. Must-see events for RRNAs

Residents, these events are ideal for you. Join in to learn how to advocate for yourself, your peers, and your profession.

Residents Unplugged

This residents-only session will dive into key issues in nurse anesthesiology, help you understand the role of the CRNA-PAC, and prepare you to make an impact on Capitol Hill alongside your peers.

Advocacy Training for RRNAs and CRNAs

Learn how to communicate effectively with Congress and understand the distinct roles of constituent advocates and professional lobbyists.

Put Your Knowledge to the Test: Mock Capitol Hill Meetings

Have a competitive fire inside? At this event, attendees compete as part of a team — or just watch — in mock Capitol Hill visits. Afterward, a former member of Congress will give tips and feedback. The goal is to learn how a Hill meeting unfolds and how to handle the unexpected.

ALL IN means all of us — are you in?

Shaping the future of our profession takes all of us — residents, CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists, and aspiring anesthesia experts. Let’s go ALL IN and drive change together.
