Advocacy at the State Level (4 MAC Ed): Join us for a workshop focused on issues pertinent to advocacy in your state. Learn from other nurse anesthesiology leaders with expertise in state advocacy and apply their knowledge when you return home.
- $198 registration fee (available as an add-on during event registration)
Reimbursement Policy & Strategies (4 MAC Ed): This workshop is designed with all CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists in mind — including those who do their own billing and those with limited or no reimbursement experience. We’ll dive into the basics of reimbursement and some of the hot topics applicable to CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists, including:
- Basics of reimbursement
- Billing for services at critical access hospitals
- Overview of the American Medical Association/Specialty Society Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) and CPT Editorial processes that drive payment and reimbursement
- Medicare teaching rules
