National Nurses Week
May 6-12, 2020

National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6 through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Also during the week:

National Student Nurses Day is May 8;
National School Nurse Day is May 8; and
International Nurses Day is May 12.

Hear the voice of Florence Nightingale! A rare recording posted on YouTube.
