The State Leadership Workshop is designed to make the education and training of our state association leaders as convenient and efficient as possible by "Taking the Show on the Road" - bringing expertise, resources, and tools around governance and leadership closer to the states. 

The day and a half workshop will inspire state leaders to lead and influence by handling difficult conversations, finding a shared resolution, and building on emotional intelligence through thinking styles. Other topics include state board orientation, governance principles, and sharing best practices and success stories with other state association leaders.

Who Should Attend

The workshop is targeted to state leaders (Presidents, Presidents-elect, and/or Board member designee). The comprehensive workshop is to build on the knowledge and skills required to serve as leaders and to better govern state associations.
