The AANA has been carefully monitoring the evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic. To ensure the safety of our members and staff, the AANA has decided to postpone the Spinal Epidural with Obstetric Essentials Workshop that was scheduled for April 30-May 2, 2020 at the AANA Headquarters in Park Ridge, IL.  The new dates will be October 15-17, 2020.

Your registration will be automatically transferred over to the new dates. If you are unable to attend in October, please email meetings@aana.com and we will issue a refund in full to the original form of payment (please allow 10-14 business days to appear on your credit card statement).  Please note that participants are responsible for cancelling any other travel arrangements made, such as hotel and airfare.

The AANA continues to monitor developments related to COVID-19 and has assembled a task force to monitor and interpret guidance provided by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with compiling clinical practice resources at aana.com/COVID-19. Workshop Program

Overview

The Spinal Epidural with Obstetric Essentials Workshop provides a thorough overview using lecture and guided hands-on experiences of spinal, epidural and obstetric anesthesia procedures. The faculty provides ample time for small group discussion/demonstration along with case presentations.

Bonus: All attendees will receive a copy of Clinical Techniques of Regional Anesthesia: Spinal and Epidural Blocks, 4th edition, edited by the workshop’s senior faculty member, Charles Reese, PhD, CRNA.
