State President-Elect Track
The State President-Elect track enables participants to develop their leadership and governance skills to effectively serve in an elected position for the board of directors and provides an opportunity for networking with other state leaders.

You have been given an opportunity to participate in a workshop called 'Mental Diversity and Team Dynamics', based on the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), at the AANA Fall Leadership Academy.  This instrument (HBDI) is designed to map your personal approach to decision making, communication, and problem solving. The assessment measures preferences…not skills. It is not a test and there are no wrong answers. At the Fall Leadership meeting, you will receive an extensive personal profile packet, sealed for your review. The AANA BOD has used the HBDI as a team alignment tool for over a decade now and continue to find it a useful and insightful aid. The $85.00 assessment fee has been negotiated specifically for the AANA. (The retail price is $550.00) The HBDI assessment is a pivotal part of the leadership workshop. Note: If you have taken the HBDI in the past, you do not need pay to take it again. Simply bring your profile with you!
