Business of Anesthesia and the Fundamentals of Practice Management

An overview of the key elements that will optimize business practices and reimbursement for a wide variety of practice settings. Sessions focus on Practice Management and Leadership topics.

Clinical Practice

New information for the CRNA engaged in clinical practice to assist with evidence-based decision making; includes infection control, neuromuscular block, airway techniques, cardiac/noncardiac topics and pain management. This track will also include educational content associated with enhanced recovery after surgery and opioid sparing pathways and techniques.

Diversity and Inclusion

Sessions include the third annual Goldie D. Brangman Diversity & Inclusion lecture and topics related to Global Volunteerism and Cultural Competencies.

Patient Safety

Multimodal perioperative care pathways designed to achieve early recovery for patients undergoing major surgery.

Pediatrics and Obstetrics

Obstetric and pediatric risks and regulations along with current trends in these topics.

Research in Action

Speakers will address cutting-edge issues in research, practice and education, and innovative approaches to improve quality anesthesia care, including the State of the Science Oral and General Poster sessions and educational content related to Scholarly projects.

Special Interest

Topics include History and Archive, Innovation and Student, and Assembly of Didactic and Clinical Educators sessions.

Variety of CRNA/SRNA physical and mental well-being topics, including healthy management of career transitions and adverse events, addressing suicide prevention and substance use disorder, and the Jan Stewart Memorial Wellness lecture on grief and navigating loss.
