- The State/Local Health Department Toolkit, titled "It's Real. It's Recent. It Could Become Your Problem.", was developed to help public health professionals promote safe injection practices in all healthcare settings. The CDC and SIPC worked with three partner state health departments - Nevada State Health Department, New York State Department of Health, and New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services - to develop and test contents of the toolkit. This toolkit offers suggestions on how to quickly and easily spread the "One Needle, One Syringe, Only One Time" message. In addition, the toolkit includes injection safety resources from the CDC and the SIPC, including an injection safety educational video, posters, brochures, and other helpful resources.
