Training Tips - Runners and Walkers

AANA Health and Wellness is committed to helping all CRNAs and student nurse anesthetists live more healthy and productive lives. Patti Bright, the chair for the 2013 AANA Walk/Run, has provided these training tips to prepare for the Las Vegas, or for any event that you want to get to the finish line feeling strong and ready to tackle the rest of the day!

Runners

I hope that your training for our exciting 5K is going well! The course we have planned for you will be very scenic and flat. August in Las Vegas can be very warm;   running in the heat presents itself with many challenges. But if you are smart and know the dangers and strategies, you can train and continue to build endurance and speed.
