Re-entry and Malpractice Insurance

AANA Insurance Services offers malpractice insurance coverage on daily, weekly, and monthly, and annual policies.

Here are some highlights of daily, weekly and monthly coverage that’s available from AANA Insurance Services:

  • The coverage is offered through an admitted insurance company (Medical Protective) which means you will never have to worry if the company has financial issues; you will always be protected by your state’s insurance guaranty fund.  Virtually every other insurance company selling daily coverage is a non-admitted insurance company and you would have no recourse whatsoever if it went out of business.

  • You will be provided with your own limits of liability.  In almost all other cases, you will be insured as part of a group of other purchasers of daily insurance coverage.  That means you will be sharing the policy’s limits of liability with all of the other purchasers.  It’s possible that the other purchasers could exhaust the limits of liability and there would be no coverage available to you if you should ever have a claim.  By having your own limits of liability, nobody can reduce the limits of liability available to you except for you.

  • AANA Insurance Services provides this coverage on an occurrence basis.  With an occurrence policy there’s never any need to worry about purchasing a “tail”.  If you purchase daily coverage from just about any other source, the coverage you’ll buy will be provided on a claims-made basis.  That means you’ll be dependent upon someone else to buy the “tail” when that claims-made policy comes to end.  If no “tail” is purchased, you’ll have no coverage.  With an occurrence policy, you’ll never have to worry that you’ll be left without coverage.

  • One of the nicest features about the daily coverage offered by AANA Insurance Services is that any premiums you pay towards daily, weekly or monthly policies will be credited towards any annual policy should you purchase that annual policy within 12 months after purchasing daily, weekly or monthly coverage.  You’ll not find an opportunity like that from any other agent.
