Dedicated to residents, this pre-Congress workshop explores strategies for success in your program and for taking care of yourself throughout residency. Share stories with other residents who are also walking this path and finding their place in nurse anesthesiology.

Demystifying the Transition From RRNA to CRNA: A Panel Discussion

Curious about your journey ahead — finances, workload, socializing? Just ask. Seasoned CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists and guest speakers will deliver the straight truth, including how to handle contract negotiations and how to prepare for your transition into CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist life.

Do Not Fear the Child! Pediatric Anesthesia Educational Videos and Cognitive Aids for the RRNA

Tuesday, Aug. 12 | 9:30–10:30 a.m. CT

A valuable how-to session: Watch an instructional video describing pediatric inhalation, then join the discussion about preparing for your pediatric clinical rotation. It’s all designed to decrease anxiety and increase self-confidence in RRNAs.

Why Is Everyone So Stressed? Looking at Generational and Environmental Changes in Society and Students
