Marleen Lovenguth, CRNA, and husband Dave spent National Nurse Anesthetists Week volunteering in Guam on a mission trip.

Marleen Lovenguth, CRNA, showed the Oregon Association of Nurse Anesthetists YouTube video "I'm a CRNA," and discussed the profession of nurse anesthesia while in Guam on a mission trip. In Guam, CRNAs are utilized in both surgery centers and military hospitals.

During her career day presentation on CRNAs, Marleen Lovenguth, CRNA, had student helpers demonstrate the proper use of many different pieces of anesthesia equipment.

Marleen Lovenguth, CRNA, helped to build a covered walkway at a local children's school to protect them during heavy rain.
‎​
 
 
​
​
Most of Marleen's time on the mission trip was spent doing the back breaking labor of digging 14 2x2 foot holes through the thick clay in order to construct the walkway.
‎​
