National Nurse Anesthetists Week 2009

 

The Wyoming Valley Health Care System/University of Scranton School of Nurse Anesthesia celebrated National Nurse Anesthetists Week (January 25-31, 2009) with the following activities:

Senior students organized a setup in the lobby of Wyoming Valley Health Care System (WVHCS) that consisted of intubation simulators, anesthesia equipment, endotracheal tubes, etc., and ran various tapes on a TV/VCR player to educate the public about the role that nurse anesthetists play in the anesthesia process during an operation.
