An interment ceremony will be held for Ira P. Gunn, CRNA, MLN, FAAN, at Arlington National Cemetery (with full military honors) on April 16, 2012.
Ira's family and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists would like to invite you to join us in a memorial celebration of her life. See the complete Memorial Service Program (PDF).
The military ceremony, for the interment of her ashes, will be in the Nurses Section of Arlington National Cemetery. If you would like to participate, please plan to meet (at 12:30 p.m. on April 16, 2012) at the Memorial Drive entrance of Arlington Cemetery. Once you arrive, two military representatives will greet you and direct you to the parking lot of the Administration Building. You can get to the cemetery by private car, cab, or metro (blue line to Arlington cemetery Metro stop). Information about transportation within Arlington cemetery will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
The interment will be followed by a memorial service at the Women in Military Serivce for America Memorial (also located at the Memorial Drive entrance).
