Tuesday, September 1, 6 a.m.-7 a.m. - Utah State Capitol, Downtown Salt Lake City
Take a shuttle bus, walk, or run (1.5 miles) to the starting line.
5-5:30 a.m. shuttle buses depart from Grand America, Hilton, and Marriott.

Walkers, runners, families, friends, and children welcome; children under 16 free. You will not want to miss this opportunity to participate in an amazing journey while running/walking through breathtaking scenery through the canyon. The majesty of the mountains, aesthetic beauty and wildlife sightings is sure to provide you with an exhilarating experience like you’ve probably never experienced before.

It begins and ends at the Utah State Capitol, atop Capitol Hill in downtown Salt Lake City. Participants will start on the east side of the Capitol building and run along the peaceful Bonneville Boulevard, with the sun peaking over the Wasatch Mountains to the east. After about 1 mile runners will begin the gradual uphill to the water stop, where they will be treated to scenic views of the State Capitol and the Oquirrh Mountains to the west. Participants will then retrace their steps and follow the course back to the finish at the east side of the Capitol. The view going back is completely different from the view going out. No pictures will do the scenery justice. Top three male and female runners will be recognized.

Race registration required.
Pricing: $30 before 06/01/15; $40 after 06/01/15. Walk/Run fee does not include a shirt.
