The workshop will provide didactic and hands-on learning opportunities aimed at reinforcing learned knowledge and skills, as well as providing an opportunity for new learning related to airway management under both normal and emergent conditions. The morning session is devoted entirely to lectures presented by Dr. Rosenblatt, an expert in airway management.  The workshop will conclude with two hours of hands-on learning using state-of-the-art airway equipment.

Advanced Physical Assessment for Pain Management Practice | 6 CE

The workshop will provide lectures and hands-on practice for advanced physical assessment useful for differential diagnosis in patients suffering from chronic pain. Topics to be covered: pain types, assessment, and interview; strength and reflex testing; and identification of myofascial, SI, facet and axial spine pain. Diane Rowles is a board certified acute care nurse practitioner with expertise in spinal cord trauma.  Jackie Rowles is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner specializing in the management of chronic and acute pain.

Obstetric Anesthesia Hands-On Workshop | 6 CE

Join Drs. Reese and Rieker in this highly acclaimed educational workshop on obstetrics. They will present the most up-to-date information and techniques related to obstetric analgesia and epidural procedures during the morning session. Attendees will have an opportunity to apply what they learned in the morning session during the afternoon hands-on portion, including the use of ultrasound equipment.

AANA Peer Assistance Volunteer Training | 6.25 CE

This interactive workshop is for members identified as State Peer Advisors (SPA). The sessions will impart knowledge, guidelines, requirements, and tools to ensure volunteer readiness to provide helpful peer support to CRNAs and student registered nurse anesthetists with a substance use disorder (SUD).
