Sponsor-A-Student Program
Support AANA’s future CRNAs
This is the 23rd Annual AANA Sponsor-A-Student Program. This has been a well-accepted tradition with sponsors and students alike.
For $360, you enable a student nurse anesthetist to attend both the meeting and the Annual Banquet, the social highlight of the entire meeting. During the banquet, your sponsored student(s) can meet and mingle with those employed in the profession and learn more about the AANA and its worldwide nurse anesthetist advancement efforts.
All student sponsorships made through the AANA Sponsor-A-Student program are randomly selected by the computer. Individuals, state associations, schools of nurse anesthesia, and partners in the profession may contribute to the program. There are three sponsorship options:
  • Registration and banquet ticket - $364
  • Registration only - $265
  • Banquet ticket only - $99
The AANA Foundation processes all randomly-selected student sponsorships, which are tax-deductible. The AANA Foundation Board endorses all selection.
Direct Sponsorships
If you wish to sponsor a specific student(s), you will need to contact that individual directly. If you would like to sponsor a student(s) from a specific state or school, you will need to contact that state or school directly to identify students in need of sponsorship. Contact information for accredited nurse anesthesia educational programs and state associations can be found on the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs' website and AANA website, respectively.

CRNA Speakers

Those who are CRNAs and also speakers at the Annual Congress may register at a reduced fee. If they will only be at the meeting on the day they are speaking, they will not be required to pay the fee and will be entitled to participate in scheduled activities on the day of their presentation.
Persons with Disabilities

To assist AANA in complying with the American Disabilities Act of 1990, those with disabilities are asked to check the appropriate box on the registration form. An AANA representative will contact you personally to discuss any special requirements you may have.
Recording Waiver (Photography, Audio and Video)

Portions of this AANA meeting may be photographed or audio/video recorded for various purposes, including reporting, promotion, archival, or sale and distribution.  By registering, individuals agree that the AANA may photograph or record by audio/video their attendance and involvement in any portion of the meeting.  Furthermore, individuals agree that the AANA may use these photographs and/or recordings without additional approval or permission.
Exhibitor Registration

Exhibitors at the AANA Annual Congress are encouraged to refer to the Exhibitor Prospectus for rules and regulations surrounding their participation in the meeting. Exhibitor badges and meeting materials may be picked up at the Exhibitor Registration Desk onsite.
Exhibitor Representatives
Only those who are employed by the exhibitor and will be working in the booth will be registered as exhibitors and given an exhibitor badge, which they must wear at all times. Badges will not be issued to registrants who are subject to the registration fee or to representatives of leasing companies, suppliers, vendors, or others who want to be admitted to make contacts.
CRNAs Who Are Exhibitors
CRNAs who are registered as exhibitors are not eligible to receive CE credit unless they have also registered as members or nonmembers and paid the registration fees.
Recruiting at the Annual Congress
The Nurse Anesthesia Annual Congress is an ideal place to seek a new position, discuss the many practice options available, and network with those who have positions available. You will find many recruiters from agencies, hospitals, and placement services in the Exhibit Hall. You are encouraged to visit their booths to learn about the opportunities available.

In fairness to those who have rented space in the Exhibit Hall, recruiting devices such as posters, business cards, private hospitality suites, or any other recruiting media cannot be used during the meeting, except by those who are officially listed as exhibitors. Anyone who is found to be recruiting and is not an exhibitor will be charged a full booth fee. If the fee is not paid, it will affect their attendance at future Annual Congresses.
Registration for Children
Children are not permitted in the educational sessions under any circumstances.
Tickets must be purchased for children who attend the Annual Banquet. Those under the age of 18 are not permitted in the exhibit hall.
Child Care
Contact the concierge at the hotel for assistance in finding a child care service that meets your needs.
