The Department of Convention & Meeting Planning provides primary support for the educational and meeting activities of the AANA. It oversees specific educational activities for various functions including the Annual Meeting, Mid-Year Assembly, Assembly of School Faculty, Fall Leadership Academy and other educational activities which may be planned.
The Department negotiates contracts with hotels and other meeting facilities. It also handles all arrangements for housing, food and beverage, audiovisual and any other requirements necessary to conduct meetings in outside facilities.
