Of Interest: "Major Deborah Lytal-Britton served overseas for 90 days, performing routine and emergency cases at the base hospital. Normally assigned as a Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) nurse, she was the first member of her unit deployed overseas, (but a medical condition prevented her forward deployment into the combat zone). She returned to Sheffield, Ala., in mid-June and gave birth to our 8 pound, 6 ounce son, Robert F. Britton, III, on 18 August (hence her not deploying into the combat zone) at 39 weeks and two days. She delivered at Helen Keller Hospital, where she is employed full-time as a CRNA. She has been selected for promotion to Lt. Col. It's great to have them both back home!!! God Bless America."
