Of Interest: Lt Col Evans served as Anesthesia Element Leader for a 32-member flight serving the largest and most comprehensive Air Force medical capability in Iraq. The unit successfully completed more than 2,100 surgical procedures during his deployment. As an authority in documentation, Lt Col Evans authored an anesthesia form specific for battlefield trauma, adding 40 new entries to clarify injury and treatment. Lt Col Evans participated in several real world mass casualties including the Fallujah offensive. Lt Col Evans retired after 20 years of military duty, and is currently in private practice. He has been married for 20 years to Mary. They have twin sons who attend the University of Texas.
