1st FST are the two CRNAs (left to right) CPT John H. Mulreaney and 1LT Jeffrey L. Allen that are assigned to this reserve Forward Surgical Team. They stopped by the 67th Combat Support Hospital on their way to their final location in northern Iraq. The 1st FST convoyed into Iraq from Kuwait and stayed at the 67th CSH for two days to pick up extra supplies and get some additional schooling on the "PAC" draw-over anesthesia system. John and Jeff will be deployed from February 2004 until May 2004.

67th CSH is the team of CRNAs at the 67th Combat Support Hospital in northern Iraq; the 67th CSH replaced the 21st CSH the first part of February 2004. From left to right are, Randall G. Hoeppner, assigned to the 1st FST but attached to the 67th CSH to help out during his 90-day rotation in Iraq. This is the second time Randy volunteered to deploy to Iraq. CPT Jim Malson is assigned to the 848th Forward Surgical Team out of Brookpark, Ohio. The 848th FST is in Iraq but Jim was attached to the 67th CSH to help out during his three-month deployment in Iraq. MAJ Matthew H. Cowell is a holdover from OIF-1 to OIF-2 and will be with the 67th CSH until the end of July 2004, at which time he will return to his home unit in Fort Carson, Colo.
