Shauna has spent her entire life in the Chicagoland area except for the time she spent in Champaign, IL while she attended the University of Illinois. It was there that she received her BSN and served as the special events coordinator for the University's rodeo team and provided the National Anthem for the home games of the Fighting Illini Hockey team. After graduation, she went on to work in the ICU and burn unit at Loyola University Medical System to gain the necessary experience to apply to the North Shore Anesthesia program to which she was accepted in 2007. Upon graduation she began working full-time for Rockford Anesthesia Associates in Rockford, IL. Shauna is happily married with two wonderful, but very busy, children, Emmett and Charlotte. On her few days off she enjoys gardening, snowboarding, hiking, riding ATVs and motorcycles, and spending time with her family.
