The AANA Foundation Presents...

Robert Beck

Robert Beck had always loved performing, and grew up attending summer Broadway musicals with his parents in Fort Worth, Texas. He began singing in Junior High, and would go on to become the 1st Tenor Texas All-State Choir and the National Champion Male Vocalist with Oral Roberts University’s ORUEF competition in 1995. After graduating high school in 1996, Robert Beck toured Europe with the Sound of America honor choir, and sang throughout Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and France. He returned home after that summer and landed a position singing with the Fort Worth Opera in their production of Faust, at 18 years of age.

In 1998, Robert’s life had a new focus: caring for others. He entered the field of nursing and eventually went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2005, and his Masters Degree in Nursing – Nurse Anesthesia from the University of Miami in 2011. Robert will graduate from Old Dominion University with his Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in May 2015. He is the CEO/Owner of his own company, Suite Dreams Anesthesia & Aesthetic Surgical Consultants, PLLC, and is moving forward with plans to open his own surgery center. He also holds an annual haunted house highlighting classic horror movie icons. Donations benefit Kidd’s Kids, whose primary goal is “to provide chronically ill and/or physically challenged children (ages 5 to 12) with an unforgettable adventure with a week-long trip to Walt Disney World.
