New Journal app Announced at Business Meeting
The AANA Journal is available as an iPhone and IPad app, announced AANA President Debra Malina, CRNA, DNSc, MBA, at the AANA Annual Business Meeting on Sunday. Amazon and Google versions will be available soon. Visit iTunes for more information on the iPhone app and the iPad app.
The app is free to download; issues cost $1.99 each. There is a login feature - this is not your AANA website login info or your Apple/iTunes login. You must create a new login - click on Buy, and it will ask you to create a login for the app.
Reminder: AANA to Broadcast Tuesday General Session Via Live Online Audio/Video Stream
The AANA knows that not all of its members are able to attend the AANA Annual Meeting, but all CRNAs need current information to help shape and guide their practice. To provide you with some of the educational content being presented at this year’s meeting, the AANA has arranged to broadcast a two-hour general session live from the Moscone Center in San Francisco. “Perioperative Neuromuscular Blockade: Time for Another Look” will feature two experienced anesthesia providers, Mark Welliver, CRNA, DNP, ARNP, and Glenn Murphy, MD, sharing their views and knowledge on neuromuscular blocking agents and pertinent information for perioperative patient care associated with this category of pharmaceuticals. The session will take place On August 7, 2012, from - 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) / 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Eastern Time). Click here for more details.
