Cleveland Botanical Gardens

Cleveland Botanical Garden's mission is grounded in the belief that quality-of-life can be improved through a better understanding of the interdependence of plants, people, and the environment. Originally, housed in an abandoned boathouse on Wade Park lagoon in front of the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Garden Center's purpose was to have a space to hold a collection of books where "anyone may come to receive information on horticulture and gardening."

Cleveland Chamber Symphony
Cleveland Chamber Symphony concerts are held in the intimate and acoustically excellent Drinko Recital Hall in Cleveland State University's stunning Music and Communication Building. The symphony is dedicated to commissioning, performing, recording and promoting the dissemination of musical works exclusively by composers of our time, no other institution has contributed so much to advancing the art of contemporary primarily American music.

Cleveland Film Society
The Cleveland Film Society serves area film enthusiasts with film appreciation classes and year-round film exhibition. Founded in 1977, the Cleveland Film Society has presented the Cleveland International Film Festival every spring for nearly three decades. Ohio's premier film event features more than 200 new films from over 40 countries on six continents. Visiting directors, panel discussions, student screenings and a conference for area filmmakers are all CIFF highlights.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
The airport serves the greater Cleveland area with over 600 domestic and foreign departures and arrivals daily. Cleveland Airport also serves as one of Continental's hubs. Cleveland Institute of Music
CIM is a leading international conservatory, with graduates who perform with the world's most acclaimed musical organizations, including 33 members of The Cleveland Orchestra.

Cleveland Jazz Orchestra
The CJO maintains a core of nineteen leading professional musicians from Northeast Ohio. For some performances, the band may be expanded to 25 or more musicians. Most CJO members are full-time musicians, working their own small jazz groups and as regulars in major theatrical showrooms in the area.

Cleveland Lakefront State Park

Cleveland Pops Orchestra

Cleveland Shakespeare Festival

Cleveland Touring Club
This group of recreational cyclists ride bicycles mostly in Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga counties in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The emphasis is on group fun and physical fitness, and riders include a wide range of ages and riding abilities from the faster riders (all ages), to people in their 20s through 80s.

Museum of Natural History
Museum of Natural History

The museum's curators care for over four million specimens in the fields of anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, botany, geology, paleontology, zoology and wildlife biology. Used for scientific research, their work is the basis for interpretive exhibits and educational programs offered to the public. Since 1920, the Museum has served as an outstanding resource for public education and environmental conservation in northern Ohio and beyond.


NASA Glenn Research Center

Lewis Field is a 350-acre site upon which the main campus of the NASA Glenn Research Center is built. Groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Lab were held at the site in Cleveland on January 23, 1941, and the new NACA Aircraft Engine Research Laboratory was born. Today the Center is comprised of more than 150 buildings which contain a unique collection of world-class facilities. Information about events, tours, speakers and the many activities held at the Center are detailed at the Glenn Research Center's website.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The Museum's exhibits contain straightforward depictions of the history of rock and roll and its culture. A stunning piece of daring architecture designed by internationally renowned architect I. M. Pei, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum contains equally remarkable interactive exhibits, films, videos and priceless and poignant artifacts, and serves as host of the permanent Hall of Fame exhibit.
